delicately trappedby tateComment: This should have ribboned..... DEFINITELY.....
Wonderful patterns, yet simple in design.
Almost metallic, but still delicate to look at.

Quiet Railway Station 1by MelethiaComment: Now this is very powerful and a fine perspective leading lines image. I also like the fact that you have processed this in the sepia tones, as it so suits this composition very much..... |

Defective flyersby MelethiaComment: Well I really like this one.....
I have to share a story with you. I found some of these in amongst my cactus garden all ready to take a macro image of.
I had the wrong lens on my camera and had to go upstairs to get my Canon 180mm lens.
I was away for about 20 minutes before going back downstairs to take some macro shots. Well I never did get any images, as when I got there, all the wonderful tufts of white fluff and all blown away.
Gee I was not a happy girl, and felt quite disappointed.
I did notice some more flowers on them so I will be back.....
Now back to your image, sorry for rambling on, but I wanted to share the story with you.
A very pleasing image with a minimal effect, and I like the drama of the black and white. Nice rule of thirds composition also.....
I also like the soft bokeh once again..... I am pleased you are taking macros as you know I love them..... |

Dandyby MelethiaComment: WOW... WOW... WOW..... What awesome textures in this fine image.
I really love the sepia tones so much, as they really suit this image.....
You could play with this one to make it grunge style, or even with overlays to give it an aged feeling.....
This is an excellent image of something that is not always seen and over passed or overlooked as there is beauty in everything we see. One really only has to look.....
This is a fine image Deb, and I am pleased to comment on it..... |

Stolen Momentby DamzelComment: I agree with one of your comment that the arm does distract this focus on the child's face.
The Mother and daughter is a lovely way of taking emotive images similar to this.
I really like the sepia tones very much..... |
