i long to travel ...by FranziskaLangComment: Definately an original take on digital infrared. Most digital infrared are in traditional black and white and I'm surprised that, in general, I haven't seen more toned digital infrareds. I have been trying to shoot sharp digital infareds with great difficulty - maybe after challenge is over you can give me a tip or two.. I really like the composition, good leading lines from forground to background, very clean composition and tonal range! |

Ice Ageby CreativeFlyPhotoComment: Very nice abstract. Have no idea what it is but the shapes and colors drew me in and I spent a couple of minutes staring at it, exactly what a good photo should do! |

Blue Moonby vtruanComment: I'm not sure if this is an actual picture of the moon or a photo of a photo. Light fall off in the top left corner is odd. All I know is that its difficult to get a shot of the moon like this with a digital camera, so if it is for real I'd be curious to know how a shot like this can be taken... |

Papillon Profileby PaigeComment: A dog picture that's at least somewhat related to the challenge :) Nice composition, dog is exposed well, even caught a gleam in his eye. Nicely done. |

Rocky Mountain Moonby rll07Comment: Really cool photo, the way the shadowed edge of the moon lines up with the slope of the mountain. Very nice colors and composition as well. Overall image sharpness seems a bit low, I'm sure that can be corrected w/ software. |

The Dove, Columbia's noted sculpture s lands on a new corner.by aelithComment: I'm not sure if this meets a photojournalism challenge, but photo wise its a very interesting shot. I'd zoom out a little though so that you get the right edge of the sculpture, and tilt it upwards to remove the background trees/lines... probably would make a very cool abstract... |

New York 2012 Olympic Gamesby tomzinhoComment: Though I rarely ever see a newspaper picture with an element that's out of focus, this is something that could definately make it on a magazine. I think the composition is great and the blurred colors of the flag create a paintery effect. Highlights are slightly blown on the poles, but I have no idea how to avoid such a problem. Well done. |

Anasazi Kiva and remnant of snowby kposeyComment: Wish the top part of the photograph was exposed a little better - seems washed out. A graduated ND filter or light that was less harsh may have solved this. |

Smiling to victory by arnitComment: Vey good shot of a fast moving subject. If I were to point out a way to make the picture better, it would probably be to get a tighter crop with more of the swimmer filling the frame. |
