A Melancholy Songby indigo997Comment: This is a really beautiful image. This reminds me of photos I saw in my camera course that were cross-processed. Subject is very well lighted, and the emotional impact of the picture is strong - I feel sad as well now :) Good luck! |

Cold blue iceby buruComment: Interesting composition, but image did not evoke the color "blue" for me. I know its in the title but I think the image should evoke the color on its own. |

Hard-Boiled Wonderlandby greenem2Comment: Really love the curves and lighting on this one. The eye always has one place to go. The lighring's great also, vey luminescent in the top right corner. Fits challenge well. |

Bowling Gloryby bamasterComment: Very good motion shot, could have easily fit well with next week... The blurring gives this one a very painterly effect, and the pastel colors add to the surrealism. Just for kicks I tried boosting the saturation of this image in photoshop and really liked what it did to the image as well. |

Into Deepby 'PongComment: Fits challenge very well, from the apparent coldness of the deserted hallway to the equally cold message on the wall. I also like the "graininess" of the photo. Well composed - your eye travels straight down the tunnel when you look at the image. Nice shot! |

Into the Blue...by LadyLinComment: Very nicely composed image, looks like the ship is following the bird. Excellent atmospheric conditions. Probably would have been better without the railing. I would have deinately added a bit more contrast to the image using 'Levels'. Would have also saturated it a bit but that's only because I'm crazy about bright colors. |

Blue Ladyby Digital_DeamonComment: A lot of objects within the frame of this picture yet the composition remains appealing. My eye naturally wanders from foreground to back. I really like the colors in this one - they seem to fit together very well. I don't know what time of day this shot was captured but I think it would look even neater when the sun's really low. Fits theme moderately well. |

Two Tone Tonic by jmsetzlerComment: Great execution of an original and artistic idea! Probably would have liked a little more lighting on the piece of lemon, or the overall image brighter, but just a personal preference. I have only started to sharpen pictures, so I don't really know much about it, I'm just wondering if this photo needs some, because overall it seems a little soft. |

Empty pool autumn bluesby jjbeguinComment: Interesting patterns, only complaint I'd have would be these two horizontal bars I see that are apparently at the bottom of the pool... |

Blueberry Splash by JackoComment: This is a really cool stopped motion shot. I've seen droplets before but never with a tiny blueberry sphere that seemingly hovers in the center of the ring! Must have taken lots of tries! I'd have the camera angled a bit more downward, it seems the bottom's cut a bit. Since retaking the picture is not an experience I'd like to do twice, perhaps a crop that leaves the sphere and ring more in the center of your image? Berry nice though! |
