I think this one would have been better vertically than horitzontially. My mind wants to know what the little fingers are doing and the table running vertical on the right hand side is kind of distracting. I would re-compose or crop it out. Also try desaturating the orange smock behind her, I keep looking behind her because the orange is so vibrant.

Just my 2 cents worth on this one, in response to the request of harsh critisism.

I do not like the amount of focus that is lacking in this shot. His hand in the foreground is soft, the shoulder is soft and the persons hand on his shoulder is soft. Maybe a slightly greater depth of field would have gotten rid of the cast and gave a bit better crispness. Also, I can not tell if it is the photo or the actual door but it looks like the photo is tilted slightly.

Overall compositionn is great.

Eschlar,

The eyes look good, but I feel the background is to much, My eyes are brought into the back before they come to the girl in the foreground. I would like to see this as a selective desaturation of the girl or (I do not know if this one is possible) leave the background but take the orange away from the kids smocks in the background. Do somthing that will draw attention more to the forground.

Its kind of difficult to make out it is a bike pedal on the railroad track. Maybe is you could have slightly raised the back of it so you could see it better, other than that it is a good use of your background pulling eyes in with the rails and overall good composition.

Hey Give,

Great Sunrise... Being in the middle of the counrty you get the best of both worlds when it comes to sunrise/sunset. Awesome colors. The only thing I find distracting about the picture are the jet trails in the sky. I think the sky overpowers the soft tree line.

Hi Xianart,

In my opinion, this shot needs to be taken at a slightly higher plane and angled down slightly so as if to be looking into the pile for a buoy. At that point I would blur out the background so the red shed in the back doesnt pull your eye away from your subject. Your composition for this shot is good, I like that you are not looking at the bin straight forward and the clearity is nice, but watch for blown pixels on the yellow buoys as they seem more likely to overexpose.

Just my 2 cents worth, Thanks for sharing.. Keep shooting.

Nice water shot, Beatuiful flow of water. Just my opinion, you should try cropping out some of the background. I feel that takes away from an otherwise beautiful waterfall.

Awesome Sunset, Brilliant coloring of the sky and great composition. I love the rolling of the field that brings your eye into the photo. I also like that the tree line acts with the field to give a flowing effect.

Good Photo, Thanks For Sharing.

Great shot, brings out the beauty in NYC. In my opinion the only thing that could strengthen this photo is to crop out the moon and star. The moon keeps pulling my eye to it and takes it away from you original true subject.

This is a great photo, I love panoramics, I looked at the high res photo on your site and couldnt see the stitching. I am sure this will become one of you more popular prints. Maybe you could try this again in the fall and get some of the trees in their autumn colors.

Great Shot, thanks for sharing.
