Day 18 - Mystery Itemby kteachComment: Not a pen spring or a notebook spiral. :)
Or a light bulb filament...

Mar 17by Mr_PantsComment: Nice mirror image of the front plant in the background. And I agree with Becky, the background color matches the plant nicely. |

MarchMacro_day13.jpgby hyperfocalComment: I can't stop giggling long enough to type! I just have to keep scrolling up to look at that cute little face.. the little nose, and those paws sticking up in the air! I think this is going into my faves... one of those shots that will be able to put a smile on my face when I need it! :) |

Fancy fire escapeby Yo_SpiffComment: This is wonderful! I love the shadow of the railing and the textures. The arched window, the green plants framing the shot at the bottom.... it all works so well together! Very nicely done! :) |

Day 11 : Rescindby ShaneBlakeComment: Very well done! I love super shallow dof shots, and you nailed this one! The composition is great (I tend to like symmetrical things and shots taken on the diagonal, and you did both with this one) and I like that little highlight in the background to give a bit more depth to the apple. Great job! |

Day 12 : Refrigerateby ShaneBlakeComment: Wow.. very shallow dof! But you got the focus just where it needed to be! Love how you can see some of the crystal shapes in the snow. Nice job! |

Day 15 : Renaissanceby ShaneBlakeComment: Hmm, I guess you'd need a whole cup of red pens then if you wanted the background that brownish color! Thanks for sharing the details :) |

Day 15: Stick a Cork in Itby EstimatedEyesComment: Great job with this one. The focus is right on, and I like that you rotated this so we can read parts of the writing. From the thumbnail I thought this was going to be a little shot glass... but this is MUCH more macro (and more interesting too). Nice job! |

Six Secondsby JMartComment: Nicely done. I think I might have rotated this just a bit to put the 12 and 6 more directly in the corners instead of cropping them off. And I agree with you, doing this with the backlighting on could be an interesting shot, though the lighting might be trickier! |

Blue Birdby MelonMusketeerComment: From the thumbnail, I thought this was going to be fungus on the side of a tree. What a nice surprise to see the textures in the feathers when I opened it up full size! Nicely done! |
