New life buddingby KelliComment: Great dof, but seems a bit oversaturated with the bold pinks both in the background and on the stem/bud. |

Graveyard Shiftby DustDevilComment: There's something about this shot that keeps me looking but I'm not sure what it is. The textures? Expression? Lighting? Not your typical clean and fancy portrait to hang on a wall, but seems to definately tell a story about the subject. A well done shot! |

Weatheredby TrollManComment: There are lots of simple portraits in the challenge, but this one seems very real and casual. The clothing looks like everyday, casual wear, and the smile seems more genuine than some of the others. Overall a well captured shot! |

Mother, Mentor... My Heartby ColeyComment: Love the idea of having the 2 girls in the background... really gives a sense of who this person is. Technically well done, interesting composition and unique idea. Fantastic job! |

The Battle Withinby CutterComment: Love the background, the consistency of color and the expression. They all work well together to portray an emotion and not just another boring portrait of a person. Very well done! :) |

pianoby tootsComment: Taken through a glass window at a museum of some sort? Looks like reflections that are making your shot look ghostly. Perhaps a different angle would have led to less light reflecting? |
