Settledby BenComment: I'm not usually one for animal portrait-ry (?), but THIS is interesting. The shiny bolt head in the upper right is distracting, but i actually like it.
Technically, the bolt is just a hindrance... but in this case, it reflects the interaction between you and your pet. Your image within the picture isn't expected, but it is a nice way to create your own keepsake, to remember this small friend for years to come. Great job.
Of course, if this isn't your pet, forget everything I just said! |

Wow - you guys are brave! I know what you mean though, it can be a little frustrating DURING the shoot, but the memories are really worth it! |

Three Speed Boyfriendby lkn4truthComment: Bravo!
I get so sick and tired of hearing/seeing comments like 'family site'.... wtfe! Forget the prudes, label it adult & let the rest learn how to monitor their children's internet activity. Plenty of us do NOT have a problem with the content, so please continue to entertain!
Congratulations on a colorful capture with good details - and a pretty good job overall, given the Basic Editing. Plus, it already sounds as though you've learned something about lighting, and THAT seems to be the entire point of DPC (to challenge yourself, as well as others). |

Tulipby silverscreenComment: Beautiful saturation of your image, and I'd definitely be putting that on a wall somewhere in my home (preferably a large print!), if it were mine... |
