Day 2 Baby Bloomerby TCGuruComment: Great job as usual ma'am!!! You know that little angel always makes for a terrific portrait! (could the catchlights be from the white petals of the daisy?)
regardless, i almost wish you'd consider having miss isa become a 'baby model' - WAY too adorable! |

Day 2 - Save the Tatasby bs-photosComment: Why not print those puppies & sell 'em on the net, with a portion of the proceeds going to the cancer org of your choice? (Erm, forget I used the word 'puppies', okay?)
I really hope you take this as far as it will go - in all seriousness, anything that raises awareness / research / funding is a good thing, right?
BRAVO! |

His Master's Voiceby kelmatComment: I can see that you've made an effort here, and that is commendable (it means your trying to learn!)
That said, you have a nice conversion here with good contrast, and the puppy seems well-focused. However, its also obvious that you've used a blur tool to make everything besides the dog OOF. It can work well to bring attention to your subject, but ONLY if it is done very subtly.
What works better is to adjust your camera's aperture setting to a low number & use a shallow depth of field when taking the picture. Your results will appear much more natural, and will score considerably better. |
