Day 2. 50 days square crop. surf ..by rozComment: beautiful colors, and a very nice action shot. I think maybe the ships in the background are actually a wee bit of a distraction, but that's a minor quibble for such a lovely image.
I am swearing off challenges for a time, but I am going to try to be in one or another of these side challenges as much as I can be. I learn so much more here than I do when I enter a shot that I love in a challenge and get a mediocre or worse score. |

Day 2 of 50 - 103 Degrees Fahrenheitby krafty1Comment: Oh, poor fevered girl! She looks so sweet. I love how this picture looks like it could be thirty or forty years old -- the sunglasses, short bangs, and b/w, I think. |

Day02.jpgby WalesPComment: Segways! People actually OWN those?
I love the light you caught reflected in the windows. |

A Study in Dustby karmatComment: Mine would be "a study in dust and tea stains".
I had to take mine apart once because we spilled in it and it was amazing how much lint was in there.
(nice perspective and DOF in this shot.)

Where there's smoke....by maxaz1Comment: yes, but did you drive over TO the junkyard for the picture? That would be a REALLY bad sign. ;-)
Nice photojournalistic shot. (also, I love pictures where one building is reflected in another.) |

Day 2 Clydeby thomaspeopleComment: oh, man, you are so funny. Poor Clyde! It's good you can have a sense of humor about it. (don't imagine you were laughing so hard at first?) Funny: remember that I was the person with the brother who had done the same thing to my parents' cars (except he had your son beat; took him way less than 3 1/2 years). The truck he ruined? It was the exact same thing. "Gee, Mom and Dad, I'm stranded by the side of the road, the truck won't go, it made a terrible noise, and oh yeah, there's been this light on...." (If it's any comfort, he's now a steady, upstanding, college-educated 35-year-old with a very steady and respectful job who's had the same [unruined] two cars for about ten years. So there's hope.) Day-02.jpgby KenComment: oh, man, that is every parents' nightmare, you know? How scary.
Good shot, too, with the girl alone against the crazy backdrop of that ride. |
