Day 3: Shot #2by Blue MoonComment: Oh, THAT's what that is! This would have been a good puzzle-macro shot. :) Oops, sorry, I said 'shot'. Poor you. |

Day 4: Happy Birthday Boardwalk!by Blue MoonComment: Now THERE's a place I haven't been in about twenty years, and I only live 3 hours away.
Interesting shot; it has a frenetic feel that goes well with the midway atmosphere. |

Day 5 - My heroby bimbleComment: It was bad enough that I never beat my military-strategist husband at chess, but when my son started beating me when he was around nine, I gave up and let the two of them duke it out. I'm just not a schemer. And it takes a schemer to be good at chess. (fitting that Wil E Coyote should "play" it, I guess.)
Is he-- he is on roller skates, isn't he? Good detail. Maybe a little soft on the contrast for my taste, but then I'm a contrast fiend. |

When It All Explodesby karmatComment: aw, karmat. I don't know you, but I wish I could hug you. I hate crap like that when it happens in families because you can't just walk away from it and live and let live like you can with other people -- these are people you have to deal with (or deal with the consequences of NOT dealing with) for the rest of your life. Or theirs. Here's hoping things settle out soon.
Love the way you used photography and processing to express your thoughts about the day, though. How fitting. (most of my fireworks shots were OOF as well.) |

Moving Onby karmatComment: oh, no kidding. They stock those in the church nursery where I volunteer, to give to the kids as snacks. Nice. (eew.)
Good photo of them, though! :) |

Day-05.jpgby KenComment: I don't see any banding. I can see all the squares on the little monitor-test strip thingie, but I think my monitor looks drastically different from most people's. But if it's any comfort to you -- I don't see the banding.
I love the perspective in this shot, and you're right, the clouds are gorgeous. |

Day 5 - South Fork Trailby runericComment: looks like a really great place to walk/bike. Really pretty shot -- I like the lines and the subdued colors -- although it feels a wee bit tilted to me (maybe due to that 'handheld with rail for support' bit). |
