You certainly do carpe those diems, and thank you for photographing them for us. :) When your daughter has grown old enough to understand how awesome and involved a dad you are, she will be very grateful.

I love the dome shot; my monitor is a bit dark right now (the computer game my son plays messes with the settings) and that lends a certain ominousness to the clouds that goes really well with the main subject.

Day 23 - Sunny Belgium

best use of raindrops on a window I've seen in a long time. I love how I can juuust make out what's outside -- it gives a sense of dreariness and being stuck indoors. (As someone who lives in California -- if we get a 72-degree day in July we pull out our sweaters and no I am not kidding. Although, being in the mountains as I am, 72 degrees in March means it's time to pull out the shorts and tank tops. How contrary we silly people are.)

how striking, to see these lovely, cozy couches with their rug (the rug is very important to the photo :) ), sitting outside in what is, as far as the viewer can tell, the middle of nowhere. Great job.

My brother is trying to convert me to RAW. My excuse is that I'm addicted to Photoshop but can't afford a version modern enough to handle that format; also, my largest memory card is a 1GB.

What a funny shot. I was glad to read your explanation, because I had no clue what it was all about without it. :)
