His face seems a bit overprocessed to me, the eyes look way too bright to be natural. I like the serious expression and the choice of bw, though it could use a bit more contrast.

Pretty soft light on this. I might have cropped in a little tighter or further. Where the arm is hanging now is just such a shame, I hate cut limbs. Would love to see her more active, like be able to see the flowers she is throwing (if she is).

This one made me kinda chuckle. I think because he looks a bit like Seinfeld. This is a fun candid and the shadow adds a little... something to it. Makes me think of a fun childlike spirit (Peter Pan maybe?) Only now looking more I think I see a face and I'm confused and realize it's a spectator... oh well, it was fun as a shadow, lol. Perhaps my monitor is too dark...

I want to see her dance! This is a pretty portrait and you have certainly captures some of her personality but as an environmental portrait (or at least that's what I think it to be with the setting and the title) I'd like to see her dancing, or at least interacting more with her surroundings.

pretty model. The positioning of this seems a bit awkward though... like the way her head is tilted I keep thinking her hair should be falling the other way... unless this is mid movement? I dunno, it just seems purposely there instead of having a natural flow to it. The lighting is pretty and soft though and warms her skin tones nicely.

Pretty model, I love freckles and the natural feel. This image just really seems like a pretty candid, like at-home amatuer photos as opposed to a portrait. I think that has a lot to do with the background and the very flat lighting.

This one stood out on the thumbnails as feeling very fresh and natural. I still get that feel now that I see it better but for me her face is over-edited, I'd much prefer it more natural to go with the whole feel of the photograph. Her expression is a bit awkward around the mouth but the eyes seems happy and the way her hair is falling with the background, beautiful.

Wish the focus was actually on the bird vendor as opposed to the cages for the sake of this being a portrait challenge... actual just in general for that matter. The cages aren't very engaging as the bars are too close together to really see much.
