Just Another Sunsetby lisaeComment: Looks like a giggle in the camera, leaving the structures with a kinds double image. Don't know what the dark spot in the water on the left side but it looks out of place. On the right the bright sun washed out places in the waves, maybe where they are breaking. This has a lot of potential to be a beautiful photo of a stunning sunset with a better execution. |

Westward Boundby DoorskidderComment: The border worked against you in this one. This is a really nice photo, but with the big brown border your eyes are drawn to it, away from the photo. The border also points out that there is too much empty space on the left side. With out the border it would have been ok with that much. The low hung clouds on the mountains and the haze on the buildings really make this photo. This looks like a place in Chesapeake, WVa.. Because of the border it went from a 9 to a 6. |

Bird of Paradiseby CubComment: Ohhhhhh. It hurts that you cropped him up. I love the photo, but all of it. I find myself scrolling down to see the rest of the photo. I'm not kidding. What you have is nice, just not enough of it. With all of it I could have even overlooked the too soft of focus on the plant. I personally think it should have been sharper. But that's just me, like the Whole bird thing. It's still a nice photo, though. |

Erlaby IceRockComment: That expression is worth a 20 in itself. What a little ham. But I'll tell you up front I do not like the top and the bottom of the photo. To me it destroys a very beautiful, well done photo that in itself deserves a 9 or 10. Enough said. |

Washington Monument at Nightby bgmorrisComment: I love the tone and the reflection. Does that ever stand out at night. Are those spot lights shining up in the air, 3 toward it and 2 on the left straight up? To me those add to the whole idea of pointing out justwhat it is. This should be right at the top. Great job and well done. I can see this hanging on a wall. |

This Old Houseby kate12303Comment: This is a really neat old house. Looks like it was a lodge of some kind. Looks like it is full of lots of good stories. Wondering if B&W was the best choice for this one. I rather like the pealing paint and weathering of the wood. That might added to the photo to be able to see it in color. But just a thought. It is great just like it is. I really like the hazy soft focus on this. Wish you the best. It's really good. |

Soft Landingby ZiggyComment: Can't quite read the stone. What does it say. Not the photo's problem, it's the tri-focal problem. Don't know what the white is but it is heavenly looking. Almost satin to whipped cream appearence. This is superbly done. Only flaw I might see is the croping on the left side and bottom needs to come in to the circle part to equal the other sides, or vice versa. But doesn't matter that much to me. It's beautiful like it is. Great photo. |

Winter Sunsetby ManicComment: This is a beautiful silowette (sp) and the colors are out of th world. Some won't but I do like the cropping of the shorter bushes on one side, buildings, then the 2 taller bushes on the other side. To me that sets off the photo. To me you have nailed this sunset. Great job, well done. |

A beatiful day playing in the snowby bcncrazyComment: Where in the world did all that snow come from for the snow man? There's none around him. Could have titled this one "Where's the kid" So bundled up. The colors are beautiful and I can't imagine how you got them so bright without blowing out the snowman. Great job there. Shame there was no snow on the ground around him and the snowman. But this photo was well done. Nice job. |

This is fun!by jenaromComment: I would like to have seen this zoomed out and seen her actually swing, still focusing on her face. I think it would have added much to that precious expression. Looks like she's not sure she's having fun or being scared and doesn't want to admit it. Beautiful focus and vibrant colors. I like that tiny black border. It's one of the best I've seen and does you well on this shot. Well done. |
