Yes! This is finally my first shot ever! The challenge Cliche was quite hard for me for the fisrt one! Doing something common... But something original? Well, I picked the splashing water idea, using my guitar pick! Well, it looks okay? A little bit of deffrent taste in it, I hope.

Thank you all for the comments and everything! I am happy about the result for the fisrt one! Some of you have said in the comments that couldn't read the writing on the guitar pick... Well, I tried to make it clear with the unsharping a bit... But, when I tried to make it more clear, the picture went too unnatural. So, basically, this is the best I could. I thought it was funny that saying extra heavy on the flat pick landing on the water softly... Anyway, thanks again for all the kind comments and votes.

I love this photo, too bad you can't see the writing on the pick a little clearer though.

Nice picture. I tend to use Gibson small teardrop medium picks.

Cool... my next pic is going to be my Fender stratocaster falling into my swimming pool I think. :) The lighting of the water is excellent.

Cool. A nice bit of originality thrown into the old water splash shot.
The colour of the plectrum works well, and gives the image a little extra. The ripples are of course very cool, and the focus and detail is great.

Can't quite read the stone. What does it say. Not the photo's problem, it's the tri-focal problem. Don't know what the white is but it is heavenly looking. Almost satin to whipped cream appearence. This is superbly done. Only flaw I might see is the croping on the left side and bottom needs to come in to the circle part to equal the other sides, or vice versa. But doesn't matter that much to me. It's beautiful like it is. Great photo.

Good color of the pick, and the rippling effect of the water is great too. It's nice the way you've caught the small bubbles rising to the top of the water. The eye focuses on the Fender pick and stays there. Fine job.

the left and top rims of the ripple shouldn't have been clipped...

I can't quite make out what the subject is that is hitting the water, however, I love the ripple effect from your image. The colour is also great. Well captured and GL.
