Love -- Mah Jongg Style

Comment:
I've heard it but don't know what Mah Jongg means. Sorry. Still a nicely focused photo. To me it appears a little crowded and busy, maybe overdone with the hearts. But that may be what "MJ" means. Who am I to say.

All in a Touch

Comment:
There is so much emotion expressed in this photo - in the facial expression and in the touch. Great job of capturing that. Cuddos to the models also. Love the soft focus - it's plays a big part in the expressiveness. A very sharp focus would have killed the emotion. Amount of light is perfect. Nice background. Great job - a 10 all the way.

I don't know. Is it? With the expession on her face, I'd have to say no. I can't believe the expression. If I'd just received those beautiful roses, I'd be all smiles. Iike how clear the roses stand out, even though they are in the middle of the car. Fantastic job of focusing. I like how the background appears different colors depending on the tint of the windows, and no window. Great contrast there. Well done and deserves an 8 easily.

A very beautiful photo with one big bad flaw - the flowers in front of her face. Otherwise it would be a 10.

Which way did he go?

Which way did he go?

Comment:
Can't tell which way he went. Even with the magnifying glass I couldn't distinguish a direction from the gloves he left showing where he went. EXCEPT that with the highest magnification part, it appears to be one glove and one man on the sticks. Now that was very difficult to spot. Without that strong of a magnifier I would never have spotted that. Good job.

At first I thought this was oranges laying on the ground. But when looking through the magnifying glass for Waldo I realized they are flowers. They are beautiful. The main problem with the photo is obvious, the shadow. It dominates the photo. I do hope you don't mean the shadow to be Waldo hiding. That is definitely not hidden. Anyway I don't recognize the flowers, but they are really pretty, almost like a poppy. As for the challenge, I can't find Waldo. If I find him at a later time I will add 2 points.

You need to pay attention to details, such as a straight and smooth background. That would have improved this photo immensely. You need better, more evenly distributed light. Personally I don't like the way you hid Waldo. But that's just me. It's nothing like the Waldo books way of hiding him - out in the open but so hard to spot, among all the other people, places, and things.

Oh, so cute. Don't have any idea how you did the eyes, but obviously it's legal and I love it. In fact I love the whole photo. Nicely done with one exception, WHERE"S WALDO!..You did too good of a job of hiding him. I can't even find him with a magnifying glass. BUT the whole thing is that we are supposed to be able to find him, just barely but do find. If I cand find Waldo I'll up your score by 2 points. Because, to me personally, if Wald's not here you haven't meet the challenge. I thought for a minute you had hidden him with the precious moments kids, but no. that would have been a neat place to hide him. If I find him later I'll increase the score by 2.

Beautiful photo. Love how you start at the very bottome with the water and follow it all the way to the ocean. Great job of focus. Good composition nicely executed> BUT , and I'm as tired of writing this as others will be of reading it once the challenge ends, I personally feel you have not meet the challenge. Waldo was/is to be HIDDEN in among he people, places, and things. I understand your thinking. But to me, putting Waldo way off by himself does not meet the challenge of hiding him. But I dolove the hoto other wise.

This is a beautiful photo.. I'm not sure who you are considering Waldo. I see three people right off the bat: one is standing, leaning over the rail on the second landing, one is beside him, and on the bottome right hand corner, there appears to be someone between the railing, which would actually be a better job of hiding. Or it at least gives the impression of hiding. Nice one
