Beautiful Poison (mercury)

We used to put mercury on dimes in science class - many years ago. Before they really found out it was too poisonious to handle. Beautiful reflection in it. I still have some old mercury switches to show my grandchildren. Great shot. Good subject. Would like to have seen this in color to show how silver in color it is. But still a 9 in my book, photo wise. PTL (Color would have been a 10 - sorry. That's a personal thing I realize)

This is either a roll of beautiful pastel colors or a roll of metal reflecting pastel colors. Which is it? It's very sharp and clear. A little tightly cropped for me but otherwise great shot. A sure 8. PTL

Unwelcome Roomate

A little more light would have helped.......but then you might not have gotten the picture then. Still pretty good. You can see the bands on the legs and can actually tell the front from the back. A tad too grainy, but not enough to take you out of the 6 category. A little more light and it would have been a solid 8. PTL.
