The way I see this one. You should have had better focus with the angle you took the shot. Really too much you or not enough of you. I know that sounded stupid but that is just what I meant - either one istead of what you have. You appear to be as much the subject as the letter - which by the way is addressed to no one, has no stamps, or "priority markings". These are pretty big things with this your subject. So have to mark down for them also. Good idea just bad execution. Sorry. I really hated to point these out. Can only give a 2, and that is for the idea.. PTL

Strangle angle to the meter. But you know what - I kinda like it. It's different. Good thight crop, but maybe you shouldn't have cropped it quite so close at the top. Good focus. Beautiful colors. To nit pick the material is a little wrinkled on the left = draws you attention to it away from everything else. Good lighting. Over all good shot. Worth a 7. Would have been an 8 but not real "wow" or interest drawing quality. PTL.

On the forum you commented that most of yours were B&W and the first one I look at is colored and I love it. It's so typical and IT"S IN COLOR, BEAUTIFUL in color. Did you try it in B&W. Bet it was nothing.
I do really like this and it is so well done, beautiful focus and not too sharp. Handing out the bag made this for you. Otherwise it was any drive through any where. Everyone recognized that "M". First time submission - ain't half bad. I'd a given it an 8 myself if I'd been on line back then. Do some more in color, you do well with it.

I love the border and jacket. Now to look at the photo. Let's see. Needs to be a little lighter and sharper. Good subject and set up. Couldn't get too much lighter or would blow out the board, I realize. You don't look much interested in the students - bad day? At least your expression says so. Decent photo worth a 6, because it is better than average. PTL

Hard to get it lighter without blowing out your drawing. And that is my only draw back to this photo. Othre wise it is very good. May cropped off the bottom , from the desk top down and added some more at the top? Just a thought. Good pic though. Worth a 7 with me. PTL

I'm not too sure about this one. At first glance it looks like a totally out of focus cow. At second look it looks like a reflection in the water without the cow to make the reflection. And I'm sure it's somewhere in between these two. Which ever it is not appealling to me. Just looks too much out of focus, except for the grass. I'd have to give it a 3.

That is a beautiful sky. What are the plants? they are so unique. almost look like large wheat stalks. They make the picture. You usually get trees, but these are so different. Good composition and well executed. A 9 any time. PTL

This is beautiful and so well in focus. I love how you have cropped it making a frame for the creek. I'll take your word that there is a creek down there. I would love to see this in color also - there greenery coming thru the snow. I'd give this an 8 easily. PTL
