I am amazed that you did this. Or did you? I really like the composition: the focus, the cropping, the placement. Only thing I question is the background color, with the colors on the cube. It seems to steal your site away from the cube. In my opinion black or maybe a soft or light red or blue would have done better. They wouldn't be so distracting. Other wise good one. I'll still give it an 8. PTL

Glad you didn't say they were racing. This is a quality shot, sure is dirty water, but there seems to be something missing when I look at it. Maybe a closer shot so we could see the people better? I like the reflections in the water and the bank on the side. I also like the cropping of the bank, showing how high it is. Wish I could pinpoint what is missing. Right now it's a 6. PTL If I figure it out I'll update my comment.

I like the composition but it's a little dark for me. Then I don't know what you went through to get this. But I do hope you tell us. The focus is a little too soft for me - can't really distringuish the letters on the camera, but not bad on the faces. A little red on the faces. Still not a bad shot. 6 is respectable. PTL

I like the color of this but it would have been better in the natural. The dirt on the hands would look more realistic, and that is a good addition to the photo. I really like the close crop. Good clear focus, able to see the fingerprints well. Good job and at least an 8 in my book. PTL

The Fear

I love the reflection of the eye lashes in the eye itself. This definitely speaks fear. The detail in the eye is unreal. I wish it had been just a little lighter. I find myself struggling to look at the color of the eyes and into it. But it is an awesome 10. PTL

I can't quite grasp what it is about this picture that bothers me. Maybe the white dot in the eye. I have not been able to over come that either, so I can't help you there. Maybe if you had been higher above the eye, even crop with the bottom, you could seen into, so to speak, the eye. The pupil seems to stop your vision dead. Technically it is good, but and it's hard to explain the but. The only way I can explain it is...it's a dead photo. Hope you can understand. PTL

This is wild. The coloring makes it, as much as I hate to say that. There's another in B&W that actually helps this one, by contrasting the difference. Lucky for you. Yes, the eyes are th window to the soul and this one speaks volumns. Great job. PTL It's a 10 as far as I'm concerned.
