Dance Dance by Fallout Boyby JeffryZComment: I like the use of the shadow to make this a more interesting shot. Otherwise it would have just been a good product shot (like on eBay). I think it might have even had more impact if you hadn't included the wall's shadow, so that the background was all white, giving more emphasis the statue itself. But the way it is, it has a nice ying-yang feel. The sharpness of the shadow on the wall is very well done. |

What's Left of Me - Nick Lacheyby BrianRComment: Doesn't seem to tie into the title at all (unless that is in fact Nick Lachey...). And other than that, it's just a bland portrait with flat lighting. |

Over My Headby boxImmortalComment: Lighting isn't my favourite. I know you were probably going for the blown out highlights on top (reminds me of one of those idea lightbulbs popping up over someone's head), but the lighting on the face seems too dark. You could have cropped off the left half though - it doesn't really add to the image. |

CRAZYby JPRComment: Yeah, crazy indeed. Reminds me of a scene from the Jackass movie. I like how the distorted lens gives us a feel of what his vision must look like, but the shot seems a bit overprocessed, and everyone looks a bit too relaxed to convey the more kinetic emotion of 'craziness'. |

Buttonsby freakin_hilariousComment: Nice colours. Everyone else who has used this idea used such dull colour buttons. Yours pop more. |

Run Itby JunieMoonComment: Quite noisy. Did you overprocess the sharpening, or is that camera noise from a high ISO? Also, the subjects get a bit lost in the complicated background. |

Ms. New Bootyby RolandBComment: That Booty doesn't look new... it's all dirty ;-) Nice use of the lighting for emphasis. |

Where’d You Go (at 14255 ft elevation)by AbstractComment: Well executed, but the composition doesn't seem interesting enough. I think you could have created more of a montage. Like maybe a "MISSING: Steve Davidson" poster in the background, and some red marker on the map - indicating a search in progress. That would have tied into the title better, and made a more dramatic photo. |
