weathervaneby HUETHComment: I think this image could have worked well for this challenge if it had been cropped about a third higher and been exposed the create a better silhouette or levels adjusted to enhance the exposure. There is a lot of noise in the image which could be from the exposure or that it has been heavily cropped. |

Land's Endby chaliceComment: This is more of a landscape scene and whilst the mount in the background is black it doesn't create a great deal of interest. I find the foreground area being lit is a distraction to the image so for me a higher crop would have worked better for this image. |

Wet Branchesby GeneralEComment: An image of a silhouette needs to be interesting. If a person was a silhouette standing sideways there would not be much to look at but if the person was standing front on with the legs apart and their arms wide open you would now have a more interesting silhouette. Look for silhouettes that create interest and impact. |

tethered by jagarComment: This is a really great images but the subject is 'rope' and I want the image to be about the rope and not just some rope in an image. If you had shot this from the tie up area up to the bow of the boat the story would have been about the rope. |
