Piers Endby twm122Comment: This image does convey dead end, but I feel that the soft focus and blown out sky distract from the 'dead end'. In this case moving the camera such that it doesn't have the sky in the shot, maybe just the tree line behind it would help the viewer stay at the dock rather than the bright sky moving their eyes away from it. |

...where the light endsby lwkimagesComment: I like the inclusion of the person in the shot. It makes it more meaningful than just a series of doorways. I think that a reflector to bounce some light onto the subject so he doesn't get lost in the darkness would help improve that area of the image. |

Dead Ends Craddle New Lifeby zapgrafxComment: I think your angle and composition are very busy. I don't have a main focal point in this image to keep me. Perhaps another angle with less clutter in the shot would improve the sense of dead end/new life. |
