Excellent shot on so many levels... first of all, this is not what I expect to see when I think "Australia". I don't know why - probably due to stereotypes in my brain. But this looks so old world and European - very quaint. Love seeing this "ordinary" (and of course, nothing you do is ordinary) street shot - excellent.

And then, the processing... thanks for putting in your steps. After seeing the original, and before reading your steps, I tried to somewhat replicate the look - the difference possibly being (besides my lesser talent) that I was not converting from RAW. I got it ~~ sort of~~ to look like yours, but not NEARLY as clear and popping as yours.

That said - you ARE a a good photographer - an outstanding one, in fact. Silly woman!! You are consistently stunning people with your images and your innovative and bold approaches to photography and processing. Just accept that you are totally brilliant. :o)OX

Very cute - looks like they were having a good time. The processing fits the mood - a little fuzzy, a little giddy. The writing on the grocery store windows in the back is just fantastic - it's like a commentary to the story!!

I had my settings changed on the portfolio views so I could see which were my most viewed images. So when I looked at your portfolio, this was at top, at first confusing me. Since afterall, this is an older image. After some cumbersome thinking, it occurred to me what was going on.

But that said, this is such an excellent image, Roz. I'm thinking, it's the boobies why it has the most views. However this photo is proof how your brilliance and excellent eye, as well as your creative brain were in full throttle in your early DPC days.
