Illustrated Word: Stray Catby cginoComment: This photo is so poignant and incredibly well processed. The poem is the bomb! Thanks for sharing it.
I don't now if you're feeding the feral cat you're talking about. If you are, just feed her every other day so she goes hungry. Then rent or buy - or maybe you have one - a cat trap, get a can of mackerel at the store and set the trap with the mackerel. That fish stinks to high heaven, and if she's hungry, she'll go for it. I've been trying to capture a feral kitty who is missing an eye and in need of medical attention. Animal rescue and several shelters gave me some good tips on how to capture a feral cat. Good luck. |

A Nosey Friendby trevytrevComment: Love how his eyes are peering at me from the bright beyond. Love the BW treatment with high contrast. And a dog snout is always adorable. |

We see youby Frankie_LvComment: Way cool - what a catch. This would benefit from a levels adjustment so it's not quite so bright. |

Rainy Nightby AliciaComment: I'm going to leave my own self a comment because I don't want to mess up the poem with chatter. This side - Illustrated Word (and thank you again, Judy!!!) - is a great outlet for my noire side. I know this one is a bit heavy, but man, it feels good - :op
I'm a huge Dorothy Parker fan. Probably because I can identify with her wit, her anger, and her sorrow. Every single one of the verses of that poem stands on its own and is yet part of the whole. I feel it's a masterpiece. And I hope I did it justice by pairing it with my image. |
