 Another Day
Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush (i'm not actually sure who wrote it, but it was a duet)

The kettle’s on, the sun has gone
Another day
She offers me Tibetan tea on a flower tray
She’s at the door, she wants to score
She dearly needs to to say

Where the wind's own forget-me-nots blow
But I just couldn’t let myself go
Not knowing what on earth there was to know
But I wish that I had

WOW - that's so fitting. They are like an old piece of paper that somebody wadded up and threw away. Perfect for the sentiment of the lyrics. You do this so well!!!! It might be cool in a drab sepia too - seeing as how the mood is that way already.

I think that you've really captured that sense of wistful regret and sad resignation that runs throughout the song lyrics.
