Our Little Pumpkinby trevytrevComment: This is too cute.
All of these photos are adorable. You've got a real darling for a daughter. Her personality seems to be fun and sweet. What a blessing. |

Day 25: Placematby EstimatedEyesComment: Good idea - makes for a surreal type of landscape. That would have worked well for the pattern challenge, too.

If Fences Could Be Bridgesby colorcarnivalComment: Heh - this is awesome! Took me a sec to figure out that it wasn't a real car. Love the idea and originality of your take on this challenge. Also, I'm very fond of the tones and processing. Excellent photo.

Standing Byby kleskiComment: In response to your post in the forums:
During voting I liked this photo and gave it a 6. The colors are rich and to me, the soft focus adds to the ambiance. It conveys that there was an actual scene unfolding.
That said, I didn't check to see how long you've been on DPC, but know that anything out of focus when it's not the challenge topic is regularly unforgiven by the majority of the voters. Regardless of how great it looks.
A dilemma I face all the time is - do I shoot and submit what is 'me' and what I like, or do I shoot what I know will do well? In any case, good luck with future submissions.
