River City in Steelby LimboComment: What a drag.
Regardless - you won. You got the ribbon. Everyone loved it. The DQ does not take that away. |

Drowned Luckby Yo_SpiffComment: I was one of the ones who gave this photo a not-so-good score.
The composition is all over the place. The whole photo is out of focus. Visually it's not very compelling since the eye has no place to land.
A closer crop might have helped. I like the air bubbles and the concept. I just think it's technically challenged, which probably explains the score. |

Yellow palaceby MelethiaComment: OH MY GOD - the Orangerie!!!!!! That path - I have walked it a billion times. Going for walks with my dogs, hanging out, going for fun - you name it. Loved the Aue. In the 80's I co-created an exhibit called Violence Against Women. It was interactive and opened right there in the Orangerie. It made quite a splash, and we ended up showing it in many cities throughout Germany for many years.
During the creation of the exhibit, which consisted mainly of installations, we - the group of us who did this - were at the Orangerie for months every day.
I could go on and on... You can tell I'm excited to see these photos. :o)
Edit to add: Do you have more photos of Kassel? Can I see them? :o) Message edited by author 2008-04-21 00:31:41. |
