I love the blue tones and the scratch textures take on the aspect of a winter flurry. This is a wonderful winter scene that has the look and feel of chilly (yes, I get a strong sense of cold looking at the image) winter holiday.

I can feel the rough weathered wood of the red barn with the addition of the overlay. It is a nice compliment to this rustic country scene.

Absolutely love the details seen on the dandelion and it really pops off the dark brown wood backdrop. This has an earthy feel to it...a ...a...argh trying to describe what imagery this brings to mind; I think herbs and gathered plants, a earthy feel of being one and connected with nature, the curl of the wood to the left makes me think of a cinnamon stick and that sparks the lovely spicey smell of it's fragence. Hmmm, the power of your image is just the pleasing imagery that it invokes in sight, feel and smell.

This overlay texture is PERFECT! It takes this great wide expanse landscape with wildlife shot and turns it into an oil painting.

You know I am a sucker for umbrellas (I actually have at least a dozen ...and there are one or two I have been eyeing to add to my collection:-) ) Love the underlying image with the natural leading lines of the walkway that extends to the vanishing point of the horizon. It leads the eye directly to the person with the umbrella. The b&w tones are perfect for calling to mind a grey and drizzly day. The rain overlay perfectly complements the mood by adding the the feel of dampness/wet to what the day feels like for those who take a stroll in the rain.

I LOVE what you did here with the blending of the images to create this artpiece! We aware to the sun bathing the hills in a magical, mystical glow. Dust and wind has adhered to the window's surface to give an earthy feel. The flower bush has overgrown such that now it has become part of the landscape we see outside of the sheer curtains that do not hide but soften the lovely view.

Nice texture overlay that give a weight of age to the composition. Turns it into a vintage look and feel of a photo of a storefront showcasing the latest fashion of the day (1920 or 30's era).

The lensbaby blur and the vignette/paper texture gives this a gritty feel and an errie mood. Something has happened here where our eye is instantly 'zoomed' in on the bench. The trees warp in a our field of vision and the hairs begin to stand up on the back of the neck.

Passion moves fast like waves of heat - the blur definitely shows them lost in the moment....heat of passion. The overlay where there seems to be a stone or marble texture makes me think they are meeting on a street with classic architecture in either Rome or Paris - a perfect romantic setting at night.

Definately some interesting sculptures at this show. With Katee's ears back it looks like Katee is worried "Yikes, they are turning the dogs into statues too!" Sometimes I look at the overlay and think that this is a weathered posterboard picture used to promote the art show and other times with the burned edges it makes me think it is part of an old album.
