Sanctuaryby xianartComment: Love how there are two concepts represented here: books being an extension of who a person is and that the eye(s) are windows to the soul. Nice earthy tones - some great textures on the books that add character and dimension. |

Talking Shopby jomariComment: Love the processing - the B&W tones are very dynamic and just makes the image really pop visually. Love the casual capture of the work done in this tailor shop. The B&W was an excellent choice for it makes us focus on the two men and their discussion on the merits of the clothes that are seen with their gestures of the hands and facial expressions. |

The Aisleby LandzEncaComment: Great eye to recognize a great moment. The wedding couple are already walking down the 'aisle'. That aisle being the walkway that leads off to the horizon that has the towering buildings of the city. Very symbolic of them beginning their life together in the great wide world. |

weatheredby aprudhommeComment: The colors, exposure, tones, and composition of elements really feels like a weathered Norman Rockwell's Saturday Evening Post magazine cover. Great eye to have spotted this story. The slump of the shoulders of the man with one leg is of weariness; tired...sadness. The crutches lay just in reach but he has set them aside to rest his weary body. The irony is that the sign behind him says "Play, because you can". There is no mirth in this man's posture. This is a highly emotional piece. |

Rhythmby LandzEncaComment: Dragon boat races are fun to watch! Great capture - I see quite a few expressions of exhaustion in those two teams. And yes, there is also the great expressions of the local team looking totally flabergasted that the German team is going to take victory from them. |

Rat kissin'by Yo_SpiffComment: Heh, my first thought was "that is a new twist to kissing a frog to get a prince". She looks positively happy to bestow a kiss on her rat, but the rat doesn't look too happy, maybe he doesn't like his hat. Renaissance faires are fun for you find all sorts of interesting characters:-) |

Ho Ho Hoby dahlinComment: What a GREAT expression! I can hear her saying 'Ho, ho, ho'. A very adorable shot - I agree with Yo Spiff this would make a great family christmas card for next year. |

Flash of Whiteby NeilComment: I love the soft sweep of colors and movement. This bride seems to be waltzing through a watercolor. |

Easterby HipychikComment: Love the smiles and the sparkle in the eyes - they are adorable! The other thing that is wonderful about this picture is the colors and the tones. |
