 This young lady is a performer at a Renaissance fair. She has several trained rats named Bubonic and Pandemic who do tricks such as walking a tightrope and pooping on her head. Here she's kissing Bubonic (Or is this Pandemic?) The other one is staying cozy under her hat.


She puts on a wonderfully entertaining show, even if the rats fail to cooperate.

Heh, my first thought was "that is a new twist to kissing a frog to get a prince". She looks positively happy to bestow a kiss on her rat, but the rat doesn't look too happy, maybe he doesn't like his hat. Renaissance faires are fun for you find all sorts of interesting characters:-)

I had a good friend who had pet rats when I was a kid. She loved them just like this girl seems to, but I just couldn't get past the fact they were rats. Nice lighting.

Let's forget the rat kissing for a moment. Did Renaissance women have nose rings? If so, I want to know more and that might get me past the fact that she's kissing a rat.
