The Fall of the House of Usherby mariucaComment: A friend I came to comfort with story unfold
At end, a terrible secret Roderick to me told
Whitely, her wraith blew in to avenge with flare
her touch ushers ruin as the shades on the wall declare.
There is just something eerie about the shadows on the wall and the lady in white who stands alone. Knowing the story, the question becomes who exactly is the harbor of death in the composition: the white lady or the shadows on the wall who seem to be musicians whose musical sound may have the same power as the banshee's cry. |

Masque of the Red Deathby RobotBanjoComment: Upon my true face revealed
Foolish Revelers fates are sealed
Silent is my scream for I need no voice
Grave tidings is the scarlet 'gift' I foist
Now the short review without the poetic writing;-) Excellent lighting, mood, and capture - it is topnotch composition one that I can see on the front cover of a book on Poe or a playbill advertising the play. |

How to Unwindby AliciaComment: Hey there Alicia! Congrats on the fantastic job and earning 4th place! Lighting, mood, story and model are all great in this composition! Can't make out what the label is on the wine bottle - wonder if I switch from a bottle of Relax to try this;-P Just noticed this - love how you have the first frame so tight and small as she uncorks the wine and drinks the frames get larger as she unwinds. Another little visual cue of being able to stretch out and relax. |

my roomby LelezComment: The predominant soft, pale hues in this photo and the lighting really make this an inviting space that beckons one to take a seat by the window and relax. This could be a photo in a brochure for showcasing pastel/soft colors for paint or an HGTV add showing off simple & elegent room design and color. |
