The Old Yellow Tapby kiwinickComment: This is great .. but I would have liked the tap to hit the horizontal thirds ... vertical thirds will just have to do. 8. |

Chromaticby sangeethComment: hasn't really worked for me ... seems a little too much and the flower depth isn't really there. |

Solar Lighted Impatientsby LVEComment: Kari from the critique club. I am Doing this from work Larry so please forgive the lack of my normal template.
First impression:
Interesting pic ... makes me want more of the flower and less of the background.
Composition
I feel there are issues with this is not too bad .. you have hit thirds with both flowers ... but it is the huge gap that just doesn't sit quite right.
Technical
This is a grainy picture ... I am not sure why, it sounds as if it was well lit .. but I think the ISO setting is too low for the level of light you had. Maybe adjusting this may have helped (this is a guess and an area I am still learning too). Some of your pixels appear to be very significant .. this happens in a number of different ways including when you blow up the size of a picture, or even zoom in so much that you can see every little one.
Subject:
Meets the challenge - you did say it was 2 second shutter speed :)
Moving onwards and upwards:
Not your highest scoring ... but it was I am sure an adventuresome shot. Well done on the effort and again I always look forward to seeing more of your work.
Any questions on the critique drop me a PM
Cheers
