Blush and Bashfulby L1Comment: I think my eye is drawn to the left flower because of the major difference in brightness from the right. Somehow shading, or positioning the light to provide more attention to the flower in focus would have helped immensely here. The bright flowers just have too much visual weight to ignore them. |

Shades of grayby cathysappComment: seems a bit underexposed here, I guess on purpose considering the title, but I would prefer that at least the highlights here be bright white. placement and composition are a bit static, possibly a nice diagonal flow would provide more impact. |

highway to darknessby MIN-BITERComment: Absolutely stunning image and depth of field. shows a real control of the lens with nice negative space, and wonderfully sharp subject. Lines on the lizards back lead nicely from the darkness to the head, which is given even greater impact by the DOF. 10 |
