SP2-Day-21.Heartbrokenby idnicComment: best. one. yet.
why? because it's you. not a character, or an act. It's you, and it's real. It's no longer art imitating life, it's life becoming art. |

Day sixby courtneeComment: same shot with no watch = 10x better. Most people don't get kinky with their watch on. |

Boy: Lostby JutildaComment: The statements here are amazing. The metal grating: trapped, held back, forgotten. The glass: brokeness, fragility, lost emotion (opaqued by dirt and grime). And the boy, covered in his environment, half lost to the darkness, shadowed and worn beyond his years, his only hope and brightness lies behind his eyes. Not enough left to even reach out throught he grate with dirtied hands, only enough hope to stare and hope someone sees him. Someone notices him. That someone would care enough to set him free from the prison he has made.
Oh, so many memories. I am so glad that this is no longer me. But it still is a part of who I am today. It still makes me cry, because I always feel like I'm still that child, and have to remember who I have become. |

Day 8 - Love Lettersby JutildaComment: am I the only one that thinks some longer grass, preferrably with big wheaty seedheads, would have SOOO added to this picture? I swear, I think you should take a picture of a field of grass and blend it into this. Strange one, this. The processing is sad, the pose is playful, and your expression is... hmmm, more mysterious than anything. You're not telling me anything with your face, but I think you're inviting me (the viewer, or maybe the reader is more apt?) to come behind that tree and find what's past the face. That's it, you're quizzical almost, questioning. Like a schoolgirl who just wrote a love letter and doesn't know what to expect! :D
Or I'm just a dork :P |

Day 13 - The Showerby JutildaComment: LOL, you almost look like you're going to kiss the ducky. nice duotoning (is that even a word?), dind't even register at first. Maybe I was to distracted by your uber-cool shower cap? |

Day 17 - Prudenceby JutildaComment: Okay, I'm not the only one that noticed the floating. That aspect makes this picture so much more than first glance. It tells a story and invites questions, and suddenly makes you read more into the personality of this character you have presented. It's an amazingly understated element that takes a moment to register, only a treat for the lookers instead of the drive-by's. |

Day 2 - India Inkby JutildaComment: open honest smile, loveley true-to-slef (or reality?) processing, this is what it's about. make it art, but make it real too. |
