Day 39: Experimenting with the Curling Ironby Blue MoonComment: Nice portrait and I like the one eye being hidden. I see the cloned spot and it really stands out, at least to me. A quick way around the NI issue would be to select the face and run just NI on that - the magic selector thingy does a pretty good job (I would try this first). Or you could have created another layer and then masked out the part you don't want the NI applied to. Once you've done it a couple times, it's really easy to do. |

47.jpgby ivale28Comment: The shadow definitely makes the shot. The splash of blue offsets the brownish tones quite well.
I don't want to stop either, but I can sure use the break! |

White Craneby AliciaComment: Nice composition and the blue reflections really balance that part of picture with the deep blue sky. Good detail in the brick but that seems to have caused a bit of haloing in the high contrast areas (building/sky). |

Day 38: Greenby Blue MoonComment: Selective desat works well. Really nice macro detail and I'd hate to see myveiny details on these sleep-deprived days! |

Day 36: Triple Starsby Blue MoonComment: Great use of B&W and excellent composition. The diagonal is spot on with the text, stars, and shadow. Very nice work. |

Day 37: The Finaleby Blue MoonComment: Nice, clear shot. In fact I thought it was a coffee sack at first, but then again I like coffee a lot. I would have given it a tad more DOF to get the whole "7" in focus, but I really like the picture. |
