The negative space makes this shot. You have just the right amount to leave some space for the bird to fly in and what you've left on the bottom shows it's height. When I was a child I used to dream a lot about being able to fly, so you're not the only one!

Kilauea Lighthouse - Day 10

I like how the road guides the eye right up to the lighthouse. I bet you could make a great series out of this lighthouse. I was never into lighthouses until I started taking photos of the one by me. But the more you take pictures of a subject, the more you learn about it. Now when we're out and near a lighthouse I'm always longing to go shoot.

I find this interesting, because it's not your traditional wedding photo, and yet it seems to tell so much. Perhaps it means that it may end up no the rocks, or like wickee_one says, be held together by the links.
