Capitalby BlueZamiaComment: What would a walkabout be without one of your architecture shots? Glad you included this one here. This really hints at grandness and I like just the partial words above. Hopefully we'll see more one day. |

Dignityby BlueZamiaComment: I agree with Roger about the noise - not too bad considering where it was at. What makes this shot is the contrast created by the verticals. I wonder how this would like in B&W. |

Seed Podsby cogeroxComment: You're not kidding about those things being ready to burst! The deep blue and the bokeh/texture in the background really make those pods jump off the screen. |

BlossomRoadby Pug-HComment: This has a real sense of mystery to it. You have the deep tracking through the blossoming trees leading to a darker area. It makes me wonder what's back there. |

Vby RetroesqueComment: This is just so cool. It's a bit abstract and yet familiar. Fantastic job on the B&W conversion. |

Evacuation?by meneleComment: I find these things so amusing. Certainly they were put up with good intentions, but if there's ever an emergency I doubt it would get used. Can you imagine people trying to gather around trying to read that thing? Nice find. |

Any Port In A Stormby EstimatedEyesComment: The colors in this are just stunning; I would have been tempted to give them the DPC oversaturation treatment.
Looks like you had a great walkabout - thanks for putting it together. |

End of an Era, AgaInby EstimatedEyesComment: Your picture is well done and I love the look of these old signs. But it's the story behind this that makes this special; it reminds me to to take those few extra minutes when I'm in my hometown to look around at all those old buildings that are slowing disappearing. |
