Day 11: Swanby bobonacusComment: Very nice. It's amazing how much time these birds spend preening, but it makes for good photography! |

Fireside - with ProPhoto RGB profile taggedby SinkyComment: Nice family scene, and I like how they're all doing something.
I'm viewing with Firefox 2, which is assuming sRGB and it looks just fine with good color. If this is tagged with a different colorspace, does DPC change it sRGB? Just another though also, when posting pictures we need to keep in mind that that majority of viewers are using non-color managed browsers on uncalibrated monitors. It's probably best to assume sRGB for viewing.
Thanks for the link - it looks to have a lot of good info. And now I really, really need to upgrade to Firefox 3. |

Pensive and tiredby SinkyComment: That looks really warm and cozy. I like the soft light - somehow this wouldn't work as well with different light. |

Sports Fanby GermaineComment: I can understand wanting to be there to read the paper but if it were me I'd bring chair and get out of the car. Anyway, I really like the processing you did on this one to give it a bit of a surreal look but not push it too far. |

marigold2.JPGby icu1965Comment: It sometimes does take a lot to remember everything. sometimes I just take a good guess if I've done a lot.!
I like the orange against the green/black background and the vivid colors. The orange/red looks a bit blown out (on this monitor) - sometimes these can be recovered in raw conversion. I'm not sure what you're coverting with, but the Adobe Camera Raw plugin has a recovery slider which can sometimes recover the detail if there's anything in other channels. |
