This is outstanding HDR work. The first thing that grabbed me is the low level detail that didn't have that HDR look to it. Everything looks so natural here and everything just pulls me in. Even the sky isn't overdone and the tones match the rest of the photo. Well done! I'd love to see your settings and how you processed.

Interesting subject and great leading lines. I'm not undecided about the HDR treatment, because you're brought out a lot of detail and texture, but it seems to have that "in your face" look, if that makes sense.

The results are certainly worth it, Colleen. This is just stunning. I think you're onto something about combing a RAW and HDR and masking out what you want; I've been experimenting with it but need to try more.

Good job brightening up the original. I think there's a setting to set brush size or something tht won't give the light "speckled" areas, unless that's what you were after.
