Man of Fortuneby cabaComment: This was underrated. I bet it's because most people didn't see the shadow and gave it an average 4/5 vote. Still, I really liked it. I think it's very creative and imaginative. Message edited by author 2005-11-23 22:14:17. |

I Do Believe in Fairysby Travis99Comment: Have you tried putting some 'fairy glow' effect on the girls face? It's just that the 'fairies' don't really look as if they're in front of her face, they look to me as if it is light coming through holes in the backdrop.
Great expression though! |

Net works?by IsabellSchatzComment: The pose and expression, and the composition and the net on her hands is what makes this image dramatic. I feel the light source isn't really the primary contributor to this effect. Good portrait though. |

The studioby hannafateComment: You've probably alredy got a hundred comments about this not being an artificial light source! Nice studio though :) |

Comfort from the Dark by sir_bazzComment: This is superb. Excellent use of light/shadow. And her expression is just perfect. Composition is spot-on. There's a light spot in the background, but I can live with that! - 10 |

cindyrellaby RothComment: Was showing her nipples intentional? Or is this an accidental candid? - I think this adds to the interest of the shot. I'm not sure the light really makes this any more dramatic though. More shadows/contrast around her face would have worked well. |

Complexityby glimpseComment: There are just too many subjects here, as your title says! - I find it difficult to settle on any one thing. Not too sure that the light really adds to the dramatic effect here. |

Purrrrfect Silhouette by dmmontyComment: I like this, but then I am a cat lover! - Sounds petty, but it's a pity about that white spot near the middle of the frame, it was the first thing I noticed. Anyway, this is a great idea, well executed. And how did you get the cat to sit still for so long? |
