PASTEL 3by librodoComment: For what it is worth(probably not much), but I actually find this one far more intriguing than your challenge entry. You weren't going to go wrong no matter which one you chose. |

Tenacityby madhatterComment: Incredible light, creates nice golden tones in the grass. The composition gets a little busy with the tree placed directly in front of the rock formations. |

Shelterby msdoubletroubleComment: Very cool color tones and composition. I wish the steer was emphasized a little more he seems to get lost a little in the shadow, and I think he's very important to this photo. |

Enduranceby BalkoComment: Very minimalistic photo as far as detail goes, which is what I think makes the mood of the photo all the more dramatic. Great job! |

Goneby macrothingComment: Very post-apocalyptic looking photograph. What really stands out very nicely to me about this photo is the great highlights on the branches of the trees. Strong composition as well with just the right amount of negative space. Nicely done! |

Minitureby drz01Comment: Time of day is everything as far as outdoor photography goes, watch and learn when more favorable times are. For example look for times when harsh shadows aren't being cast on your subject, the camera just can't see this scene like your eyes do. |

Conjoined Twinsby yantskiComment: The sky is absolutely beautiful and radiant. I don't know what circumstances dictated, but moving closer would of the allowed the tree to take up more of the frame, and the dark bottom less. After all the sky and tree are the story, they should dominate the frame. |
