Interesting shot i found while browsing. I like the light in the frame and think that a stronger composition could have been achieved by moving subject to the right, leaving the brightest part of the picture more off centered. This would have also given more separation between light source and subject. You know your stuff so not trying to criticize, JMHO.

In the context of DPC, i guess i'm suprised this pic scored where it did. I realize flag=low vote for many people but technically the picture is spot on. And even though the idea behind the photo is not clear to me, it's still quirky and also artistic. It also meets the challenge in an obvious way.

I remain confused about this one.

I think a little more DOF would have benefited you in this pic. I think it would give a little more meaning and clarity to your title. I do like the gritty feel of the processing as it fits the type of shoe perfectly.
