The Paperbark Warriorby roscoComment: My first thought when seeing your photo was the tree fighters in Lord of the Rings. I like the angle and composition. Too bad the sky is so bright. I wonder how a darker, more menacing sky would have looked? Very cool though. |

Silhouettes in Natureby sarimiliComment: I'm not a technical person, but I find your photo soothing. For me, I wish the colors of the water weren't so...muted, but I still find it a peaceful photo. |

Cabbageby Bear_MusicComment: Wow - very cool angle. I like the light shining through the leaves and seeing the veins, etc. The subtle border works well also. |

protective limbsby mesmerajComment: Very cool and very creative. For me, I wish there was just a hint more of the highlights - but I hope you win a ribbon on this one. :-) 10 |

NEVER mess with trees!by nzorroComment: Ha ha ha. Points for humor and something different. Soooo glad those aren't spider legs (that's what I first thought when I saw the thumbnail). |

Highlighted textureby edmengComment: Cool viewpoint. For me, the white border is just a bit overpowering. I wonder how this would look with say a 1/4 inch border. I like the lighting you captured too. |

caughtby persimonComment: I'm not a technical person by any means, but there is something about this photo I like. Maybe it's the soft background or foreground branch. In any case - I like it. |

My Branch!by PurpleFireComment: For me, I wonder how this photo would work if you cropped it into a vertical photo as the bird is a vertical object? Also, a bit more of the branch showing beneath his claws. I do really like the coloring and how you caught the tilt of the bird's head. |

Where Streams Meetby kposeyComment: I like the colors and clarity. I also like how you kept the branching streams slightly off-center. |
