35 years - still going strong!by RiponladyComment: For me, I wish this was a bit...crisper...or something (not great on the technical stuff - sorry). Also, the shadow on her arm looks a bit odd and I wonder about the plain background. I do like the expression on her face though. You captured the happiness and love. |

Celebrate Pets that Flyby donnievComment: I wish the bird had been more in focus rather than the tree and doorway in the background. Keep trying and I'm sure you'll get a great shot of the bird in flight. Looks like a very beautifully colored one. |

Ton up at Lordsby tonyvComment: I'm not sure what your title refers to, but that's neither here nor there. I'm focusing on the photos themselves in this challenge - since I see it as wide open. My favorite part of your photo is the helmet in the child's left hand. The right side of the photo is a bit dark for my tastes, but the overall use of black and white doesn't really give me a sense of celebration - almost the opposite, actually. |

Celebrating the end of the droughtby quiet_observationComment: When I looked at your photo (without looking at your title first) it actually gave me a sense of lonliness. I think it's the empty bench and overcast tones. Then I read your title referring to drough and it just doesn't seem to fit well. Sorry. |

Lots of Loving !by TheresaAComment: Animals are a cause for celebration (for me) as they offer unconditional love. The flash is a bit too bright and his poor eyes are glowing. Sweet dog though. |

Military Superflowerby GeneralEComment: For me, I don't see the celebration connection in your photo (sorry). Your title refers me to the sky, but when I look at your shot my eyes stay focused on the boardwalk and the bright sun refelctions of the water on the left hand side. Perhaps a different time of day would work better? |

Celebrate Friendsby Sherri1209Comment: With a bit more focus, and maybe a bit less of harsh lighting I would have scored this higher. I like the tones you chose to use. |

Want more?by hannekeComment: For me, this is kind of the opposite of celebration - or the result of too much? Bit dark and gloomy for me, but the composition is good. |
