Old schoolby Hordur AceComment: Yeah, good title and good photo with the grain effect. The overall effect is a shot that feels like it's from the 60s or 70s. Well done. |

Sand Petalsby Studio18Comment: For me, this image has been grained to the point that it has become a digital art image rather than a photo. |

Applique'by KaDiComment: I don't know if the grain on this is an enhancement or not, but I really like this photo. I like the composition and the colours. The processing is very well done, IMHO. |

Despairby RikkiComment: Let me start by saying that I'm no expert at portrait photography. I do think this is a good portrait but for some reason, my eye keeps getting drawn to the light spot on his forehead. |

Mother's Grief...Mother's Joyby DrAchooComment: Quite the shot. Well done. The selective desat is a nice touch. The grain on this adds to a mood that this might have actually been captured in the early 1900s. Good work. |

Safe in my fathers armsby TUBORGComment: This is really nice. A comfortable feeling in this shot. Somehow, I get the feeling of old fashioned morals in this shot. Extremely well processed. Very nicely composed. Good tones and the grain is a nice moody value add. |

Just Hangin' Aroundby kevrobertsonComment: I like this shot and I think that grain on this adds to the gritty feel of the tunnel. I think I would have liked a little burningon the faces to bring the faces back from being washed out. Overall, a nice image with good composition and a nice part of this challenge. |

feel the noiseby tateComment: Well done. The grain adds something to this in terms of mood. I flip flop back and forth about the position of the hand ... sometimes I want it at a different line and sometimes I like it just where it is ... probably that means it's fine where it is. Nice processing!!!! |

Newport Castleby postoakinversionComment: Well done. I think that the grain really does something nice for the end result here. Almost a ghost like feeling and nice character to the sky. Probably not quite as strong a sky without the grain. |
