The Pinnacleby MAKComment: Oh no. The little one must have gotten the boot shortly after this one got done saying THIS IS SPARTA! |

The Outside Worldby JewlyaComment: I'd imagine you could spend many an hour photographing this spot just to see how many little stories you can capture in each of those hexagons. |

Person on a Bikeby slipintoshadowsComment: The clouds on the left looks like the Milky Way. I don't care much for the title or that you kept this in color but I do like the photo. |

Loving Oneself Is A Choiceby ErinKirstenComment: Interesting presentation. Her head mind and body appear to be two separate entities, not at all physically attached. The choice comes in the willingful connection of the two as illustrated by her hands and arms holding her head in place. Had you shown more detail, such as her neck and back, the title wouldn't work. |

Stetson Man by LVicariComment: It's easy to see why this did well (lighting, DOF, and that DPC sharpness) but for me this would work a lot better had you shown a little restrain and refinement in your editing like what you've demonstrated in the past with your other work. In terms of detail, the guy and his clothing look great (at this size anyway), but everywhere else the detail just looks like digital fuzz, a nebulous of noise/dead pixels masquerading as detail. That might work as a style but when you coupled that with the fence, which appears to be growing a colony of pixel fungus along its edges, it becomes too much. You've really pushed those pixels well past their breaking point. Frankly, I don't know why you just didn't keep the background untouched. You probably would have scored well over a 7 had you did. |

Unadornedby zeuszenComment: I like how the shadow appears to rise above the twig like a soul leaving the body. There are no leaves, no water, no actual life except the memory of one. Perhaps the memory of many who made that transitioned from ocean to land. |

On the Fenceby K3MasterComment: I can see why you entered it. This photo doesn't keep the viewer at arms length like a number of those that placed higher. No, this one invites you in. There's nothing phony or dishonest here. How can you not liked that? |
