Ah, but it does indeed help if the woman is beautiful to begin with, too! Gorgeous light in this.

Interesting presentation. Her head mind and body appear to be two separate entities, not at all physically attached. The choice comes in the willingful connection of the two as illustrated by her hands and arms holding her head in place. Had you shown more detail, such as her neck and back, the title wouldn't work.

Nice portrait. Good contrast, clarity, softness to her skin.

beautifully done--obviously a beautiful subject, but in addition you have a great pose, beautiful lighting, and you made use of the textures in the sweater to guide the eye without overpowering the image. The tones, conversion are wonderful, Her eyes, skin, hair are just wonderfully done.

some might question the long strand of hair, but I think it is great: it echos the line of her outer arm, and continues the leading line from her lower arm--whether it is fortuitous and you kept it, or you saw a need and went over and pulled a strand down, kudos to you--either way, a great decision.

Very nice lighting...the darker details fade to black quite elegantly.

Nice lighting, it emphasizes the viewer's attention to her face.

Awesome sephia look, and her pose is really nice, the leading lines direct you to her face which isn't entirely in focus. The bottom half of the face is out of focus the most, would be ok of her eyes popped out a bit more, and only her hair seems sharp. It forces me to take a point away in this case, but I still give it a 7, it's a really good portrait, could have ribboned.

Just beautiful - Nicely engaged, love the balance on the black & brown jumper (sweater I guess) e.t.c. My top rated vote.

Edit: Sorry; Dropping from my favs due to distracting watermark.
