I like the colors and texture you captured. The problem areas for me are the blown highlights in the sky and the composition which feels too boxed in for me. Also, the tight crop of the structure makes the uneven edges of it more noticable (i.e. right side wall appears tilted inward). That could have been fixed shooting perpendicular to the structure, using a tilt shift lens or fixing the perspective in photoshop. Overall the image is a good one.

As it pertains to the challenge voters might not have found this shot that compelling. Maybe if there was more interesting light cascading on the structures/tombs it would have done better with voters, especially since the theme was afterlife. Maybe an evening/sunset shot would have achieved this?

I didn't vote in this challenge but if I did I probably would have scored this a 5 or 6.
