No Skateboarding Allowed

I do like the stop sign in the shot and also the one-way sign pointing in the other direction. It just visually screams skateboarding not allowed. The motion blur was probably way too subtle for the challenge like how mine was. Another thing lacking is the color. I think it's fine but I made sure to boost the color that I did include in my entry because that just helps with voters but why am I telling you this? You've done better than I to date. :P

This is probably your best still life. The composition is the best part. I really like how the flower flows out of the frame in all directions and the focal points are off center. The lighting is also good. While I like the soft focus I would like this better if it was a tad sharper. Keep in mind I sharpen my images so much so take with a grain of salt. :P

I like this one the best from your street series. The color and the grunge kinda have a ying yang effect for me. The color representing the boy's expression which seems upbeat while the grunge depicts the life on the street. The lighting is also great here. Simply well done.

Very nice and personal. Let me say I also agree with gruvin. As for the technical aspects, the lighting seems too strong on your side which pulls my eyes that way because of it. Maybe reduce that effect slightly in photoshop. I like the composition in general but the frame edges especially around your head feels a bit uncomfortable. I think this might be a good image to add a slight vignette to soften the parts that leave the frame. Also, that fabric that is in the background I would think about removing in photoshop. To me it's not hurting or helping but just there. If it was more apart of the scene and had purpose I would say leave it there.

These are just some suggestions. I really like your work. You have an uncanny ability to capture your subjects very well without the look of artificiality.

Very nice. I like the gold color in the water a lot better in this one. You probably can't get that close to the rock but if you could you may want to try next time throwing some fill flash on it and shooting at a lower angle.

Very nice. I like the gradient in the sky and the color is full of life. The water seems a little bland against that brilliant sky. Maybe play around with the color balance tool and gradient map, if you use photoshop, selecting just the water. It looks like there is some nice color there that could be enhanced more.

At first I wasn't sure about how you cropped her face but the way it leads out adds some flow. On the right side I think maybe you should crop a bit to remove that other leg that is barely in the shot and unlike the face doesn't enhance the overall form and flow. Btw, great lighting!

I gotta say I like your b/w work. I like the pose and the lighting is good but I think you need to have a bit more light on her face to draw more attention there.
