I like the angle. The white block, of course, is a major bummer (but you knew that). I'd try to lower the midtones on levels to give the pavement a slightly darker, richer color.

It's a weird distortion effect and I'm gonna try to start rewarding that "out of the box" mentality. It doesn't do too much else for me though. Works as an album cover (thinking Manson here) though...

This is a little tough to stretch to "dead end", unless that sign means as such in Iceland. (it's yield here in the US) I'm not gonna mark you down because of that though. Compared to the last aurora picture (which may even have been your's), this isn't captured as well. They seem more flat in shape from possibly a longer exposure. 6

Among the nicer "isolation" pictures. I do like the lighting and the negative space works. It doesn't carry enough oomph to get you a top score, but I'll give it a 6.
