Boy, I'm not sure why you have 10 1-scores either. I'm viewing it at 1200x800 and it does look jaggy on the needle. At 1920x1200 it's still jaggy on the needle. The lighting on the needle also looks funny, like there's a lot of artifact from saturating the yellow and red.

As far as the composition and idea. I like them a lot. it's creative and artistic and I would have thought the idea a winner going in.
